Pitof and Malo Girod de l'Ain work together since
the summer of 2002 on the development of the project, the writing of the
scenario of the first film, the concept of the TV series and on the creation
of Virtual Script, the global tool for characters analysis and visualization,
characters interactions...
Pitof is the director of VIDOCQ released in 2001, first film ever to
be shot in high definition digital cinema. Vidocq, in addition to its
popular success, received many international awards. Lately, Pitof directed
Catwoman for Warner Bros. with Halle Berry as Catwoman and Sharon Stone,
Lambert Wilson...
Pitof starts his career in 1979 as an assistant director
and film editor on advertising films, corporate films and feature films.
Pioneer of the digital images in France, he enters the world of special
effects in 1986 working on advertisings and video clips for the most famous
directors. He also participates in the creation of tv channels design.
After 1990, Pitof opens the way of the numerical cinema in France as a
director of special effects for feature films (namely Delicatessen, the
Visitors, the City of the Lost Children, Alien: Resurrection, the story
of Joan of Arc, Asterix and Obelix vs. Cesar...).
